Hi! My name is Emmy Vitali, and I am a photographer and creative designer based in Rochester, New York, I graduated from Penn State in May 2024 with a degree in Telecommunications and Media Industries and a minor in Digital Media Trends & Analytics.

I have always been highly observant, detail-oriented, and drawn to the small moments that often go unnoticed. Photography and art direction is how I document those moments and turn them into meaningful images.

That mindset has shaped the way I approach work across sports, hospitality, and live events, where everything moves quickly. Whether I am photographing a game, restaurant, or concert, I focus on capturing authentic moments that reflect the experience as it unfolds.

One of the highlights of my career was being invited to photograph several Toronto Blue Jays games at Rogers Centre. That opportunity was a result of my success as a photography and graphic design intern with the Buffalo Bisons. Before that, I served as the Social Media & Photography Director for Penn State CommRadio and Social Media Manager and Team Photographer for the Sanford Mainers (NECBL).

From there, I became Team Photographer for the Rochester Jr. Americans during their three seasons in the North American Hockey League (NAHL).

​

Today, I work as a designer in the creative department at Wegmans Food Markets, where I lead content and social media efforts for the specialty restaurant brands Next Door and Amore, contribute to the @Wegmans social team through art direction and content development, and support design projects across the business.
